There are several small towns scattered along the shoreline of the Bay of Kotor, which is the southernmost fjord in Europe. The area surrounding the picturesque town of Kotor itself have been designated a World Heritage Site since 1979.

To get to the top of the city wall on the hillside high above town, I climbed the 1355 steps using crutches due to my recent achilles tendon repair surgery. The effort was worth it for this view of town and the spectacular Bay of Kotor.
