Without a doubt, yesterday was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It was at Agua Azul, a series of waterfalls separated by deep blue/green pools of cool, clear water. For those of you who know me well, you know I’ve always been a water baby, and there is only one thing better than a great waterfall, and that’s swimming in it. That’s what we did. 🙂 You can climb on the super grippy (limestone?) walls, and dive from just about anywhere into deep water. Amazing! This is the kind of thing that simply isn’t allowed in countries with a lawsuit culture. You could visit, but you couldn’t swim. Anyways, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Enjoy, Russ

Agua AzulOh yeah, there was some great Spanglish here too. At the top of the series of waterfalls, it’s quite steep and more dangerous, so they don’t want any swimmers up there. They posted a sign that probably should have said “Dangerous. Do Not Swim”, instead, they have a sign that says “Dangerous Not To Swim”. I have no choice, I must go swimming!
