Shell beach is in a relatively sheltered location which somehow seems to collect seashells. Whether this is due to them easily washing ashore or perhaps their ability to stay there without getting swept away. Either way, this is an incredible beach with perfectly clear Caribbean water.

That’s not Brava at anchor in the above photo although we did move to this spot for the following night because it was so amazing! You have to pick a night with very gentle seas though because there isn’t a lot of shelter and it could lead to a pretty rolly night with a bit of swell.

This photo of Shell Beach was taken the the day after the above photos. After seeing this beautiful spot from shore we decided to sail Brava over and drop the hook here for a night.
