Puerto Iguazú, which is the Argentine gateway town to Iguazú Falls, lies at the border between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
The river marks the border between two countries and the impressive Iguazú Falls is split down the middle between Argentina and Brazil. I visited the Argentine side, which has boardwalk access to “La Garganta del Diablo” – The Devil’s Throat. When standing on the platform looking into the Devil’s throat it’s easy to get vertigo since water is falling all around you. It’s absolutely mesmerizing and fascinating to witness the raw power of this much water.
This photo is not of the Devil’s throat though, but another spot in the vast area that is Iguazú Falls.
